Bill York

Dear Nile-hi friends.  sorry to tell  you that Bill passed away early this morning.  Some of you had sent e-mails earlier and I shared them with him while he was in the hospital.  It was so wonderful to share good times at the reunion.  He had a great time and was looking forward to seeing all of you again.  For those of you who I didn't send e-mails to the first time around, Bill was diagnosed with lung cancer in January.  It had spread to many different areas.  What did him in was a perforation in his adomen which would have required a difficult surgery and recovery and he decided to let nature take its course.  Our sons, Mike and John got to spend a few days with him at the end and he was able to talk to each of our 4 grandchildren.
