James E. Harms, 70, of Lincolnshire and Sarasota, FL passed away March 16, 2010 following a brief battle with cancer; beloved husband of Patricia nee Wulk; loving father of Julie (Michael) Muth, and Jill Harms; dear Stepfather of Jeffrey Lewis, Vickie Giotis, and Mark (Sharon) Lewis; proud grandfather of Christopher and Kyle Muth, Melissa Lewis, Kristina, Rebecca, and Michael Giotis, and Brent and Matthew Lewis; son of the late Percy and Edna Harms; fond Brother of the Late Henry Harms. James was an avid private pilot since the age of sixteen and a member of Village Presbyterian Church. Memorial Service Sat. 2 p.m. at Village Presbyterian Church, 1300 Shermer Rd.
